We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in the retail industry. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing vast amounts of data, identifying trends, and providing insights that drive business decisions. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity
Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and patterns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions
Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and improve operational efficiency
Assist in designing and implementing data collection tools and processes
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets
Advanced knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with retail industry and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) is a plus.
