Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions to improve our overall retail operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.

Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
Design, develop, and test high-quality software solutions to meet business needs and ensure compliance with specifications
Write clean and efficient code using cutting-edge technologies and best practices
Debug and resolve software defects, ensuring that applications are bug-free and perform optimally
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to improve our software development processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software integration and deployment

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in software development, preferably in the retail industry
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python
Experience with web development frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Vue.js
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
Solid understanding of software engineering concepts, data structures, and algorithms
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
